House raising involves jacking up the entire house using hydraulic jacks and installing new support structures such as stumps, piers, or a new foundation to secure the house in its new position. This process is often carried out to protect the structure from flooding, create additional living or storage space, or replace and repair the foundation.
If your home is sitting on timber stumps or brick piers, it is important to assess them regularly to prevent sinking or rot from setting in. We have advanced power tools at our disposal, as well as our own excavator.

This will vary depending on the quality of the service and where the property is situated. In general, restumping can keep your property’s foundations in place from 15 to 50 years. Your builder should be able to advise on how frequently you should arrange for a restumping service.
